💪🏻 Your Role & Responsibilities

The Social Media Creator & Strategist role is for someone who loves content, breathes strategy, and knows how to turn an idea into scroll-stopping stories.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Own content creation from A to Z → Plan, write, film, edit, and publish content across platforms (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Build and scale personal brands → Create content for your own and key team members brand to grow reach and reputation.
• Create short-form video content → You’re comfortable in front of and behind the camera, and can quickly produce high-quality videos.
• Tell stories that stick → Turn complex ideas into engaging, platform-native narratives that drive attention and engagement.
• Collaborate with our founding team → Work hand in hand to tell the story of how we’re building magier—and how our clients are building theirs. Align on strategy, execution, and creative vision.
• Experiment and iterate → Track what works, test new formats, and continuously optimize based on performance and feedback.
• Stay on top of trends → You understand what’s working now and how to adapt it to our context without chasing hype

To succeed as our Social Media Creator & Strategist, you should have:

Must-Have Skills & Traits

• Strong storytelling instinct → You know how to hook people and keep them watching or reading.
• Proven content creation experience → You’ve built content that performs and can show examples.
• You live and breathe marketing and design → you’d probably spend your free time on it even if it wasn’t your job.
• You know your tools → You know how to design social media posts in Figma and edit videos yourself (e.g. Capcut, Premiere, DaVinci)
• Excellent copywriting skills → You write sharp, clear, high-performing content.
• Curious and self-driven → You take initiative, teach yourself new things, and constantly improve without needing to be told.
• Strong attention to detail → You hold yourself to high standards in content quality.
• Team spirit → You collaborate well, support others, and grow through feedback.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• You already have a personal brand or following in the design, creator, or marketing space.
• You’ve worked in a fast-paced startup or creative environment.
• You understand the “behind the scenes” of a creative agency.
• You know how to build and distribute freebies.

You’ll receive a small creative challenge to showcase how you think, write, and create content. Nothing fancy - we just want to get to know you quickly.

3. First interview (Skill Set)

A casual but focused conversation where we’ll talk about your past experiences, walk through relevant work, and align on expectations.

4. Second interview (Culture Fit)

We want to get to know you - how you think, what drives you, and how you approach work and life. This is about personality, mindset, and making sure there’s a great mutual fit.

5. Demo Day with Case Study

You’ll work on a real set of tasks we provide—this is your chance to show how you think, create, and execute in a live, hands-on setting.

6. Decision & Offer

After Demo Day, we’ll make our decision and get back to you quickly with clear feedback - and hopefully, an offer to join magier.
